Garden Makeover

Ed’s Garden Maintenance Operator Matthew May who covers the Folkestone and Canterbury area was recentlly asked to give a local garden a modern makeover.  Matthew decided to use Indian Sandstone, replace the existing lawn and move some plants.

The Front Garden
Matthew took up the old patio and flower beds, laid a concrete base and created a stone circle.  The existing wall was taken down and replaced.

The Back Garden
The old patio was removed with a new base layer and slaps added.  The borders were redone with a base and brick edge added around the turf.  The turf was re-layed and shrubs relocated.

The customer was delighted and said she was more than happy for potential customers to see the end result.  If you are interested in having a new lawn ready for the spring/summer why not contact us for a free estimate.

Transforming a Garden

John Marshall from Ed’s Garden Maintenance recently transformed a garden from feeling oppressive and overgrown to giving it a whole new lease of life.  The customer felt the plants had taken over and she was looking at a jungle and had no ideas where to start!  The customer rang to say how delighted she was with the results and sent in some photographs.  Please contact Ed’s Garden Maintenance if you would like an estimate for some garden clearance.

Changing the outlook in Cleveland Square through brute force and coffee

James Leonard is planting trees in Cleveland Square on behalf of the Residents’ Association.

He recently won the contract for maintaining the central garden of Cleveland Square, near Paddington. 6 mature cherry trees (Prunus Autumnalis Rosea) were delivered on the 2nd February. On one of the coldest days of the year James managed to roll these to their designated spot for planting through brute force and a lot of coffee. He has since planted them before the cold weather strikes.

Mow the Merrier

John Marshall soon discovered the merits of his branded van when he started with one regular client in Chertsey, which soon became two and is now up to five with a potential of reaching 20 new customers on one estate by the spring. This has been possible by providing excellent service, displaying a clean branded trailer for great advertising and wearing a smart uniform. Please call us if you wish to have a free quote for some professional garden maintenance.

A little tidying up …

Even a little tidying up can transform a garden – as can be seen from these “before and after” photographs:

James Leonard (North London) took these photos, both before he started work on cutting back these straggly hedges – and of the finished result.

The work was done in September (you can tell by the sunshine) …

… and you can see how these gardens have benefited from their late summer makeover – immediately increasing their “kerb appeal”!
