Ed’s Garden Maintenance helps with wildlife in Bournemouth

Ed’s Operator Mark from Bournemouth sent in the following:-
“My customer needed their fence replacing as it had fallen down last year and now that they were planning on selling their house it was time to get it replaced!  During discussions with the customer they said that whilst it would be good to get the fence replaced, they were sad as they had recently seen a hedgehog come into the garden, via the fallen down fence.  Taking note of this I decided to put a hedgehog hole in the fence above the gravel board.  The customer was really pleased with the work I had done, and the fact that I had left an opening for the hedgehog.  Then three days later I received a call from the customer absolutely delighted to tell me that the hedgehog was using the fence opening, and was drinking in their garden.  The customer was also kind enough to send me a photo of the hedgehog!”

Excellent Review Bournemouth

Hawthorn Hedge – St Ives Cambridgeshire

Richard our Ed’s Operator in St Ives Cambridgeshire recently rejuvenated an old hawthorn hedge, which in parts had become overgrown with ivy.  Richard, who recently completed his chainsaw maintenance and cross cutting course made use of power tools to cut through the ivy which in some areas had trunks as thick as the original hawthorn.  In other areas, the hedge needed patching with new, four year old hawthorn plants.  Once the hedge was cleared and tidy, 50 metres of fencing was erected on the field side, with the base buried below soil level to exclude rabbits from the garden.  Richard said the job was very satisfying, and looks forward to seeing the hedge come back to life in the spring.

Review – Happy Customer Bournemouth

Ed’s Garden Maintenance Operator Mark from Bournemouth had the following review from a happy customer:-

“Mark did a fantastic job of putting up fence panels complete with boards and cement etc in what I would say was quite an enclosed area. Very considerate, professional and left the area extremely clean and tidy, would definitely recommend and use again, great job thank you.”

Congratulations
