My lawn has always suffered from water logging after several days of rain and from huge cracks during periods of dryness. Rich aerated the lawn four weeks ago and several days of rain followed. The surface has since drained extremely well and the appearance of the lawn is very much improved. Can highly recommend Rich for a job well done. Will be booking a power wash for my patio shortly.
Ed's Garden Services have been pruning and tidying my garden for several years. They are always efficient, friendly and complete the tasks quickly; with obvious knowledge of how and when to prune and care is taken with wildlife. I heartily recommend them. Thank you for another job well done.
After beginning to find I was having difficulty managing my large back garden I asked locally if there was someone who could help and was told about Rich. He came & had a look and could see what needed doing. He started coming weekly until he managed to get it under control and then spread the visits out. He tackled the borders, hedges etc. and in no time got it looking tidy and neat. Would thoroughly recommend Rich as he is hardworking and trustworthy not to mention reasonably priced.
I am very pleased with the work done and thankful of the advice given to me.

He said he would do as much as he could on that initial day and then tie in some further work in that area at no extra charge on his subsequent mowing visits. Whilst we regret that your own expectations may not have been met, we feel that Rich has done very best to deliver the work in compliance with what was agreed."
I am very disappointed by the services received from Rich at Ed’s Gardening Services. We were originally quoted £350 to cut our lawns and hedges and not only did we not receive the full cut as originally agreed, they continued to ‘book’ in regular lawn cuts which was not conveyed to us what this included at another £120 for each time. The £120 did not seem to cover much and they were only working for about 3 hours. This is very disappointing as we were made to believe it was going to be £350 for the full cut but they tried to keep on overcharging us. Please be honest and upfront with your customers when you give the original quote. I would not book or recommend Ed’s Garden Services to anyone who wants an honest and well-done job.
I wanted to let you know how many wonderful comments I am still getting following the brilliant work you did in transforming a small empty 'New Build' garden plot into a calm and relaxing space in June 2020. The garden has matured so well and with your ongoing care and maintenance, continues to delight both me and my friends who can now visit! Thank you once again.

We are sorry that this has been your experience and there does seem to be a difference between what was agreed and your expectations. My elderly parents asked Stuart to undertake some work in their garden. The men who came had equipment that ran out of battery and we offered for them to charge it and they declined. They didn't actually dig out bramble roots as we asked but only trimmed; my 83 year old father had to subsequently do that himself after Stuart refused to come and rectify that unless we paid more. Plus it was made clear to the workers only to do the 'easy' job of cutting the grass if they'd completed the other more taxing tasks but they left those and cut the grass anyway. My parents and I spoke to Stuart separately to try and rectify, were told point blank that we had misunderstood what had been agreed and that they'd only come back if paid more. I expressed my disappointment and said I'd write this review and my parents were emailed a very direct email saying their bill was overdue and to ask me not to write this review. My parents paid in full and there has been no further attempt to rectify, so here's the review.
Neil responded to my request for quote very promptly. I lilve in Surrey so Neil went to the property of my elederly Uncle and helped me understand what needed to be done without me adriving the distance. Works agreed and on the day I met neil who was prompt, efficient, accomodating and a lovely man to chat to. Garden works were to standard and I have already booked a repeat visit which Neil will attend to without me present as having meet him can fully trust to attend on time and complete the work without me being there.
We are very sorry you have not been able to get through to your Ed's gardener. Please can you let us know what number you have been trying to call so we can check our end as we have not been able to find any record of you on our systems.

Theo did a marvellous job in our overgrown back garden and we are thoroughly delighted with the end results. Theo is very personable, worked extremely hard & efficiently. So happy to found him, thanks Theo for a job well done! We will definitely continue with Theo going forward and looking forward to enjoying our garden at last.
